Paint prices online
Hello,
I have just bought a rental property in Perth that is a bit of a fixer-upper. Im trying to see if I can compare paint prices online but cant find any sites with this information. Does anyone know of a site or store online where I can get some pricing, and possibly buy some paint. Im not looking for any colour accuracy, just need some cheap paint in basic colours.

Kmart or Big W in their own house brand is about the cheapest paint you will buy.

I checked on the website for kmart and bigw to see if pricing was available but there isnt anything there. Is there any company that offers pricing of paint online?

I wouldn't expect you'd find a lot online, because although you aren't concerned most people want realistic colour, which can be hard to guarantee online, also it is very expensive to ship becaus of the weight.
Sorry ... can't help.

Hi all
I am in Perth, if you are budgeting use these figures.
4lt tin approx $60-70
10lt tine approx. $100 -120
suedes or special paints 4lt tin $ 140 of course there are always the specials.
ceiling white 4lt approx $50 10lt $60-70
Tho if you go to Wattyl - Bannister road, Canningvale - tell them you are a business (they do not check) you can get 10lt for about $60 - $ 70 Ssshhh! secret. If I remember correctly I just paid $59 for 10lt - tho it depends which sales reps a/c they use to give you the trade price.

hey just a little back ground info here for u, kmart preformace paint is made by dulux it is better quality then their trade paint a "trade Paint" is a paint that will need to be done again in about 2 to 3 yrs. where as performance should last about 5ish......now im unsure how much performace is but bunnings have their own brand called british and its about $45 for 4 ltrs. u can pick up a cheap brand called walpoumour and thats about geez by memory $20 for 4 ltrs have a look for mist tints too caz there always cheaper then shelf paint.....

Don't forget that a cheap paint may require three coats compared to good quality paint that only needs two coats. Don't seem so cheap when you factor that in as well as time.

Hardly anyone prices paint online. Too many variables and too heavy to ship. Dealers set their own prices, so manufacturers can't help.
But Perth isn't Uluru. Crank up the ute and take a dekko at the local shops.Cheers,
Bob
