Default What Are You Gunna Do This Weekend?

I might go pull the head off me hilux.
It wont be a pretty sight, reckon its cracked &/or melted.
maybe the bottom half could be recovered.

    I'd much rather make sawdust.

Had to pull off the starter motor on my Hiace last weekend ....skinned a knuckle too . Thought I was going to need a reco unit, but turns out it just needed a thorough clean and some grease in the bearings etc, and bingo, works like a new one.

This weekend I'll be welding up myself a mobile base for my Bandsaw, and finishing off these.

Now Bob, get off the comp and start getting greasy! ..

Spent a half hour fitting drawers I had built last weekend in the kitchen while wife was out shoping.

Then decided to clean up shavings, offcuts etc outside, b****er sucked up a plastic bag from behind a bench and it caught in the dust extractor fan.

Today has now turned into dusty's birthday, fix vacume leak, clean filters, remove bag from fan, empty bin, check bearings and fan mounting. Dusty has not been apart since built a bit over 2 years ago.

    Work sadly.
Also take my kids to the Armidale show to look at their "artworks" that have been entered and see if they won anything.

I have a rather unique and intellectually stimulating job this weekend.

I have to count the cars parked in designated parking bays within a given area of the main street. I have to do this once each hour from 12.00 to 8.00 pm fri, 8.00 am -8.00pm sat and 8.00 -8.00 monday.
As a change of pace I get to visit a client on sunday and discuss a management plan for 3 row timber belts.

Trying to finish my new bench. It's been WIP for a while now and I've been using it a fair bit without really finishing it properly (adding a wagon vice as well). If I stuff around any longer I fear I may drift over into Midges alternate reality.

Making sawdust, but it's only catching up on the work that should've happened during business hours.

Pine & MDF... nothing enjoyable. [sigh]

I should have been cutting out the parts for a Campanian Armuria, but my anvil stand finally succumbed to termites big-time, so I have to replace that with one made from treated hoop pine, so I can make the brass reinforces for the Sheraton-styled folding Campaign Bed I am making with a friend, so she can 'wow' them at the Bathurst bike races next time she goes.

As of dinner Saturday I have about half the bits done for the first anvil base - did I mention, 2 anvils, no waiting? If my brain works better SUnday, the basic panel framing for the Armuria should get done, then its time to fire up the router with some panel bits.

Three days of bloody horse events and listening to the whinge about the slide out cabinets in the kitchen I haven't finished (or started yet).
