It's a Small World

As some of you know, I am involved on the Committee organising the woodworking competition to be held in conjunction with the Tasmanian Timber & Working with Wood Show to be held in Hobart at the Derwent Entertainment Centre on 16th - 18th March.

Tony Ward aka Sculptured Box entered so I gave him a ring yesterday to see how he was delivering his entries. He told me he sent them down to his sister who would be delivering them to site, after further conversation turns out I knew her fairly well since her son and my eldest son attended school together and were mates from kindergarten to year 10.

any insinuation that judging could be affected by this tenuous relationship would, of course, be met with a stony silence.
