So how about we suggeest an increase to the number of attachments that Manage Attachments can handle?
I'm not sure, but I think you can add more attachments in edit mode. My last post with 5 pics is too old to edit (i.e. > 24 hrs). Anybody wanna give it a try? Or a test just for this?

Joe, I'm certain that you can only attach 5 files per post.

There's only 5 slots to upload pix into a post, no matter where you put 'em; in text or as a footnote.

I'd say that, most of the time, when pix are inserted into text five would be enough anyway. IMHO long posts (especially WIPs) should be broken up into smaller articles for ease of reading.

Some of the 4wd forums using Vbulletin are posted that way.

By going to their thread tools you can display all pages in the thread as a single document for printing.

I've printed a couple of 4wd threads about hotrodding Hiluxes and it makes it very easy to print the topic out but sure takes a long long while to just to load 4 pages with lotsa big pics as a single page.

Perhaps my memory chip is shot to L, too. I thought "Manage Attachments" came up in edit mode; but might just allow swapping or deleting pics. As Skew implies, separate "chapters" makes for easier reading. Best to spend a little advance time (e.g. offline) organizing your thoughts, with the reader's interests in mind.

Joe to edit attachments you have to go to advanced edit after you click on edit.
