Shellac & Silicone
The new kitchen bench is in and tiling is done . The benchtop is finished with Hard Shellac. There's a 2mm gap between the benchtop and the bottom of the tiles which I'll fill with a sanitary (non fungal) silicone.
Anyone have any idea what type of silicone will bite into Shellec to product a seal. I'm assuming an acidic type will do the job. Any suggestions.
I'm using silicone rather than grout along the bottom edge due to potention movement in the timber.Cheers.
