I thought I recognised this one as being at Century Mine
But there were no markings on the haul truck
Then when looking through one of Pawnheads other links I found this
You can see the Pasminco Century Mine sticker on the top of the tray.
I guess someone was embarrassed and did a bit of editing.
BTW, these photos bring back some scary memories.
I used to have to drive all over the open cut pit in a small hilux ute.
Quite scary when you have haul trucks which weigh over 400 tonne loaded, with a very poor field of view, being driven by very tired people on 12 hour shifts.

Here I was driving down the road today, to the local shops when this idiot started pulling out (even without indicating - and only 3 metres in front of me) from a stationary position on the left hand side of the road. I suddenly had to pull sharply into the second lane (fortunate there was one and no one was in it). As I went past I gave him a blast from the horn.
I was wondering if there had been another car coming up alongside (in the second lane) me and I bumped into him, would I have to pay for the damage caused to their car, or would the driver who forced me over be liable?. Given that in would be human instict to try and avoid a collision in this case it maybe detrement to one losing out - because of liability.
I hope I made myself understood.
Cheers
David
