mistral air con pumpl units missing parts??
Is it nomal that the mstral (mss10) or others? do not give you the 1/4 and 3/8 union couplers for the pump??
(the head unit DOES have them...)
i got my lagged pipe to day only to find thet i still need the 1/4 + 3/8 couplers for the pump....bugger it!!! oh well.... hot weather is still a few days away.....

The flare nuts should be on the service valves.they should have copper bonnets in them to keep foreign matter out of the valves.

nope! just a plastic screw on cap (looks like a union) but not open just a simple plastic protective cap.
no probs i will get a set from reece / purple pig or such....

All the times we have installed splits that have the plastic nuts on the outdoor unit, there have always been the correct flare nuts in a plastic bag along with the other accessories (remote, screws, filters etc). Im guessing you havnt found this bag?

yes found 2 x plastic bags had inside
bag 1
1 x remote
1 x install manual
1 x operate manual
1 x energy ster (1-6 star sticker)
bag 2
2 x batts
misc screws
misc brick plugins
lagging tape
misc filters
both bags were sealed
hhmmmm??
