    Well Gumby 'ol chum',
May I suggest you get into your car and come for a drive and possibly stay in the bush up our way for awhile, last night we had 29mm,
a couple of nights before that 68mm, then about a fortnight before that, another 50mm. HOW'S THAT !
If you are living in the foothills and there ain't no rain,
then the rest of Melbourne has no hope either.
The thing that really annoy's me is that before Christmas I ordered 3 new tanks, about 3,000 litres each, to put down the side of the house next to the fence, and you guessed it, all that H2O and no tanks yet.
    Cheers,
    Ron.

Gumby, you need to keep an eye on this.

I don't know if its a good thing or not though ......the heavy rain came tantalisingly close like a *&% tease.

At least its mostly dumping over the catchments.

No. The tank is still about 3/4 full. If it wasn't for that tank, most of the garden would be cactus.

I do keep an eye on 'that'. But it's getting very frustrating.

That would have put about 800L into my tank

If your garden was all cactus, then don't worry about getting rain - they survive quite well without it

Yum, check the website they are brewing again. Its been like this everyday for the last 7-8 days. About the same time everyday the storms start brewing. Check the radar......cross you fingers Gumby.

On a side note, they are saying that the El Nino has run its course. This weather at the moment reminds of classic summer Feb weather. Stinkin hot during the day and thunderstorms in the evening.
