Default Doing my bit for the drought!!!!!

So how does a home renovator do their bit for the drought. Well they neglect to check out the radar, assume because it is sunny and fine it will be sunny and fine in 25 minutes and then go ahead and do this.......

Not to worry, SWMBO not home for another 2.5 hours (hope she doesn't come home early!!!!!)

I suppose I shouldn't whinge too much, I had the roof off for a week with no tarps and not a drop of rain!!

But I am happy to come over and knock out your windows,

PS does anyone want the aforementioned windows (two of them), free to a good home - pick up in Albury.

That could be Al's scaffolding - at the right price!!

The windows are 2400 by 1200 (plus there are another 2 windows at about 1700 by 1200) 4 windows in all!!

    Cheers

That's because I was silly enough to think "Today's a good day to clear out the shed" and spent several hours trolleying the heavy machinery out into the driveway...
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Sorry I'm in Sydney but I'm sure if you can't get the windows taken right out someone will at least take the pane's out for you.

    Hi Namtrak,
I did my bit last Friday week when I took some tin off the roof to install a ducted evaporative cooling system at our place. Later that afternoon, in a scene reminicent of the movie "the perfect storm" saw me speadeagled on the roof, howling wind, horizontal rain, trying to hold down a seriously flapping tarp.
First chance after the storm, roof screwed the tarp down, which served its purpose well over the next week of late afternoon thunderstorms, and completed the job.
Lots of anxious time spent looking at weather site online.
Good on you for keeping the rain coming - I hope nothing got too damp.
    Cheers.
