    Joe - It probably already is.When we were in LA last year there were massive Aussie Eucalypts growing everywhere. Would have been there for a long time by the size of them, good 60 years or so.

    Probably all over the US but no one knows. They think they're just some sort of rare local tree.

    They usually get cursed when they have a bushfire, we all know how a eucalypt reacts to fire.

    Eucalypts were originally taken to the US of A for use as railways sleepers some 160 years ago. Then they realised that they are too slow to grow and they grow twisted and knotty, thus not being too good to use as sleepers. If I recall correctly the oldest stand of eucalypts is close to the Presidio in San Fran.

    ..... and if I had the power governments would be held accountable!

    If I had the power I would open all closed forums and keep them going just to drive some people nuts. No, honestly if I had the power, I would make the neatest ,tidiest hand cut dovetail ever!
