    Default Trojan Horse ZLOB

    Been copping this about three times a day of late, AVG has been arresting it and Adaware has also found it and destroyed.
    Anyone else been bombed????

    I had a trojan appear the other day. My daily scan with Xoftspy got rid of it so I didn't take much notice of what it was called. That's the first I've had for a long time and it got past PCcillin.

    haven't had any since then

    Strange, I've been pretty much virus free for over a year now then suddenly get bombarded, apparantly Zlob loves to get into ID and PINs so watch your bank balance, I have been avoiding internet banking until the AVG has finished, then make sure I use banking before opening any other sites or emails.
    I also ran Symantec after the other two and it gave me an all clear.

    This is, without any exaggeration, the best computer I've ever had. Only my IBM thinkpad that I had 2 laptops ago comes close (and that was a nice piece of hardware too).

    I agree that banking is a problem. I also try not to open other sites first but mostly just use linux to do my banking. I don't think anyone has bothered to make a trojan that will key log in linux.

    For my bank password I open up notepad and type in the password there, cut and paste into the bank.

    Key loggers cant get hold of it, even them on screen pads are hackable.

    I got this tip from Gra who works for a bank, so he would know.

    I don't know the the last horse I bet on, should have been called SLOB, so ZLOB is just a tpyo
