    Default Japanese Mud Grain Filler

Here are some photos of TONOKO and its application.
Tonoko is a very fine mud powder that is mixed with water, rubbed on by hand and then rubbed off by a cloth.
    Clean up is with water.

    Default Further oics

Drying time is about 30 minutes.
When finnished I spray with a sanding sealer or for a small job just use a cheap aerosol can of lacquer.
The wiped off powder goes back in the tray and is used again.
No gloves or mask is needed.

    Default The Finished piece

The finished piece is a document box.
The inner tray is for passports and smaller stuff.
The bottom holds a legal folder for insurance policies etc.
