Wrought Iron Fence Question
We are looking at building a new front fence and given we are in a heritage overlay location there are many limitations. We are looking at a wrought iron fence with blue stone base and wrought iron posts. The block is about 15m including drive way, the fence is about 10 m long with a gate in the middle and double gates at the drive way.

Does anyone know where in <st1><st1>Melbourne</st1></st1> I can get wrought iron work done, and how much it would cost. The council will not allow aluminum replicas and has stipulated it must be solid wrought iron.

Thanks in advance

Perry Bird Pickets in Brunswick do them ,and they have an outdoor display that you can access 24 hours a day.

where in Melbourne are you?
There's a wrought iron place in Mountain Hwy Bayswater and another I've passed a million times but never looked at the name...doh in Bell Street.
Are you going to do solid bluestone and have you priced it yet. Just curious as to prices for bluestone as against replica. Can you do replica bluestone?
