Metallic leaf
OK, so a search produced one conversation about using leaf as a filler. That's not what I want to do so I'm asking if anyone has experience 'finishing', say, a wood tray with metallic leaf, gold, silver, and/or copper?
I know the basic application theory, and am sure there are some traps to be avoided. Due to the cost of the medium I'd like not to fall into ignorant mistakes.
Please, if you can guide me round the more common mistakes I'll be so grateful I promise to post a picture of any good 'stuff' I finish.
