500th post! Gumby! Cliff!
I'll be da*ned if I was going to waste my 500th post on the Friday drivel when I could waste it on my own thread.
Almost everyone on this Forum (you exceptions know who you are) are the bee's knees.
I am hoping 500 posts will win a free ticket to OZ (actually, two free tickets, my SWMBO has to travel as well). If so, I would like to meet Ruffly, sing karaoke with Gumby, swop experiences with Groggy, Flowboy, Lignum, Tassiekiwi, Driver, Doughboy, Murray 99, Bennie, Stuart, Neil, , Shedhand, Felder, Rocker, Al, oh my lord, I feel like I'm making a speech at the Oscars, I fear I will leave someone out.
Cliff, Havenoideatall, Farm Boy, Wood Butcher, Daddles, Dingo, the list goes on and on. If you weren't mentioned, it was an oversight, not intentional. You blokes are the best
I've overlooked everyone. I apologise. But I've found a home from home on this Forum. And besides, I've had several shooters.
I'll include the rest one the next post. You are all wonderful.
Strewth, I'm getting maudlin. Ugh!Cheers,
Bob

Congrats Bob!
You seem to be getting a little emotional. Why don't you just thank these people and that way you know you won't have missed anyone.
BTW, what is "Friday drivel"? Am I missing out on something?Retired member

Good on you Bob!.
Re your "Aussie Bob" tag though, f.y.i that was the sobriquet of a notorious Aussie Mafiosi, one Robert Trimboli.
You can read all about him here:

It's quite a tale too!

Congrats, Bob.
If you really were at the Oscars, you would, of course, have thanked God and sung something in which you use more keys than a locksmith in each line.
P.S. Time to put the Scotch to bed methinks!
Good one.

Mate, I had a nasty experience with a bike and a fence as a youngster I'd gladly swap for a fishing memory or two. Then there was the time I grabbed a live 240v, crossed a paddock with a bull in it, drilled a hole in my leg and had to unscrew it by hand. Of course the time I slipped off a fallen tree trunk, impaled my leg and hung upside down for an hour bleeding like a ripper - that's one experience I am willing to give away for nix, you don't have to swap and I don't want it back - it's yours. Maybe the nightmares will go away now .
Oh yeah, good on yer Bob

Well done Bob
Not a bad effort for a yank on an Aussie forum.
