Well my football hero when I was a kid was Graham "Studley" Cornes, but I just tell people it is my incredible and amazing prowess with the opposite sex, no one believes me can't work out why.
2436 is short for the dimensions of a 35mm (small format) negative. Pro Photographer thing joined here before I went digital which must be along time ago now.

SilentC,
Familiar as I am with Kublai Khan's pleasure dome, and the River Alph, I had never associated them with your nick before. I had always assumed that it had a much more mundane etymology Thanks for putting the record straight

errrrrm,
well swmbo lovingly says I have a face like one.......
me? I prefer the cocktail aptly named for its looks with something green like midori and a splash of something red like I dunno and all sitting on something slimy like baileys......Tastes alright.
I guess it's better than the cocktail named "the one that didnt flush"......

Mine is made up from my nickname and also because I always have been had timber around for as long as I can remember.
DJ comes from sharing a house with another John and a girl and she got sick of 2 Johns answering her everytime she called out John. So she started calling me Deaf John as I am deaf and I said no bloody way, so she shortened it to DJ and now everyone calls me DJ except for my Mum & Dad.Cheers

My nick was oringially given to me by my pommy friends; after I had lived in the Antipodes for a few years, they noticed my pronounced Australian accent, so they referred to me as "Our ocker". I protested vehemently that I had always spoken the Queen's English; but they wouldn't let it go, so I had to go with the flow and call myself ....
