Danish oil and bees wax finish help
I have just completed a redgum table and finished it with 3 coates of cabbotts danish oil leaving 24 hours between each coat and rubbing it in using 400 grit wet and dry and wiping off the excess oil after 30-40 minutes. I then left it for a week to dry and then applied a coat of bees wax. Once again I left it for another week before using it. But after the first night of use I have been left with slight ring marks from the bottom of the drinking glasses that were only filled with water. Can anyone teel me what I have done wrong?

G'day;
If you used pure beeswax or a product heavy on the beeswax, that may explain your problem. Beeswax is susceptible to marking from water in just the way you have described. I would suggest turpsing it off and applying a quality carnauba-based wax instead (u-beaut brand comes to mind). Best of luck.
