Very tough clear finishes?
Can anyone reccommend a good tough clear finish. Its to go over some existing vertical oak panelling roughly 2 or so metres square. Its in public place so its been heavily scratched . I'd like something that would resist this.

Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

Maybe 2 pack poly. But the trouble with all poly gloss finishes is that once scratched they're hard to repair. You have to sand or strip it all back and start again.
I'm a fan of Rustin's Danish Oil - easy to apply, durable, repairable.Cheers, Ern
