Painting external doors?
Hello
I am thinking of painting the front and back door?? The back door is in a pretty bad state, badly weathered.. and has even got a small split running down it.. Is it salvagable? And what would I paint them with? An exterior paint I thought??
Cheers

One of the most important thing with painting external doors is to take the doors off and make sure you paint the bottom because when the weather hits the door and runs down the door and if it isn't painted on the bottom the water will wick up the bare timber and weather the door from underneath the door.
