    Default Shower Troubles

    Hey All,

I bought this shower from greys auctions and the handyman i got reckons its not the standard aussie shower and he tells me its impossible to fit.

On the other hand i saw these showers being sold everywhere.

I live in blackburn area and if anyone can let me know if a good handyman or if someone is interested to set it up for a fee, please do drop a message.

    appreciate your help

    cheers

    Siddy,
part (or all) of your problem is quite possibly the fact that you're using a handyman. You need to use a plumber and possibly a carpenter. I doubt that it's impossible to fit, difficult, awkward or inconvenient possibly, but not impossible.

I think that is one of the big catches with the auctions. While you can get a 'bargain' - often plumbing stuff is of different guages than our standards here in Australia. ie it might be made for us in China or somewhere. It doesn't mean it can't work - but sometimes the extra hassle and cost of getting it fitted means that it isn't really a bargain.

Not sure if this is the case for you - more just a general comment from someone who has been caught out before.
