Blood on my chip breaker...
Discovered that blood will permanently stain steel early this morning. Was buffing a chipbreaker I'd just removed from the electrosoup. Stupidly ran my thumb along the edge which contacts the blade. For some reason it was razor sharp. Yep you guessed it. Didn't realise I was cut until I noticed the claret all over the backside of the CB. No stitches needed but close. Why do thumb pads bleed so damn profusely. Got back to the task about an hour later. Buggared if I could get the blood stain off. Oh well, a bit more history for the plane. I wonder if that's what produces patina...I might be onto something...hmmmm...
Glad I don't knit, I'd have no blinkin' eyes left...If you never made a mistake, you never made anything!
