If only the Poms had the passion that their supporters do!

Just taking a look in history with adventures such as Henry's conquest of France, and Churchill's I have nothing to offer you except blood sweat and tears or his call to arms we will fight them on the beaches, and the bulldog spirit that they would never ever lie down while their was breath in their bodies, all I want to say that this team was not English. Lame limp wristed spineless yep could not be from the England of legend and history.

Bit of brainless management didn't help either being so defensive from the outset and failing to pick their best team, like the keeper Read and Monty as well. It might have played out differently had they been in from the start.

Well they are smelly, uneducated dingoes, only fit to be trained as Brickies for starters!!!

Hmmmm.... maybe that's a bit strong.... perhaps they may be able to be trained as landscapers!

    Well done the team!

Now they just have to keep the Poms winless in the one-dayers and it will be the perfect summer.

Langer, Warne and McGrath are a pack of hacks and should be dropped.

Well, what can we say. 5-0 It doesn't get any better than that.

But somebody should tell my Boony doll it's all over.
He just said it's time to give them a bath. Maybe he thinks they stink

We finally got Langer! It has taken years of nagging and sooking but the selectors have finally seen that he can't bat a bit.

*L* What about that Warne guy can't bat can't bowl either. I only wonder if Joe the Cameraman is still on the cricket crew providing the telecast or was he dropped?

and in news just to hand, the selectors have finally come to their senses....

    Hayden picked for one-day tri-series

Matthew Hayden has been handed a limited-overs lifeline and Cameron White has been rewarded for his domestic form after both were named in Australia's 13-man squad for the Commonwealth Bank Series. The selectors were forced to rethink their one-day line-up after losing two members of the Champions Trophy squad: Shane Watson, who has a hamstring injury, and the now-retired Damien Martyn.

Hayden is set to open the batting with Adam Gilchrist in the tri-series featuring England and New Zealand, which begins on January 12. He got the nod ahead of Phil Jaques and Chris Rogers, one of whom will almost certainly partner Hayden in the Test team after Justin Langer's departure.
It's going to be a great summer, I can just feel it!

No problem with Haydos...but what the about Jaques!? Yes, he was...I repeat...was in good form last year. The media is so far behind him...pushing him forward I'll be surprised poor Rogers gets a look in at all. Look how long it took to get haydos in the team...and then they picked him when he was in a slump. Took years to recover. The saelectors have missed great talent for years. Hussey should have been in the team 4 years ago. Hodge made the mistake of scoring 200!

Looking forward to Aus v NZ in the one day. They will put up a good fight. The poms will be lucky to bat 50 overs!
    Regards
    Jeff

I think the team needs a Hairdresser.
    When is Hayden retiring?
