    Default Bathroom renovations

Some pics of the progress for anybody interested.

The wall between the bathroom & laundary have been romoved, the bathtub, toilet & basin have also gone.
The old tiles have been ripped up.
The sheeting has been romoved from the wall that was next to the old bath to fix the water damage & move the plumbing.
The floor has been cut & the new plumbing is in place ready to be cemented next week.
    Cliff.

The pipe work in the ground outside the bathroom.

This big hole kept me busy most of yesterday...
The part near the house was done a couple of weeks ago & I just had to dig the trench out to the connection that was put in last year ready.
Lucky the red dirt is fairly easy to dig.

    Excellent stuff.

What will the wall and floor lining be?
There was a young boy called Wyatt
    Who was awfully quiet
    And then one day
    He faded away
    Because he overused White

Good to see that you are enjoying the Christmas break. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.

PS. The book will be in the mail next week.

gonna be a nice rewarding job Cliff. Those cuts in the floor remind me of the reno of my first bathroom. Termites rained down on me when I removed the timber cornices, what the?? Bathroom was gutted only to discover those sort of cuts under the old shower tray into a converted ensuite, only the sons of unwedded mothers didn't reconcrete them. Termites had come up through the middle of the slab...

    Default looks great

just finished doing the same but prior to pouring the concrete i poured in some fortune 500 to stop the termites thinking of getting near this area, mix a strong concentrate 3 to 1 and poured it in (it was a bit smelly till the floor went down) but hopefully should do something down the track.

keep at it, can't wait to see the finished pics

We have a new en-suite that we can use for a shower... it doesn't have a basin but we can use the laundry tub instead.
Things came to a halt yesterday just after lunch as we had some very distant pommie relos arrive to stay for a while.
I greeted them with "I hope you don't follow the cricket!"
The response was "Bloody hell, what's happened now."
They do follow the cricket & they aren't at all impressed.
