Default What'd I Drop That For?

Dropped a half full spray gun pot today.

Paint everywhere ,clothes hands face and hair.

    Fortunately it was house acrylic
so straight over to the tap and hosed most off straight away.

Then threw the clothes in the washing machine.

Didn't get any on the job.

Boy am I happy it wasn't lacquer, or even worse enamel

I bet you stood there like a statue for a minute or and then thought oh well I can't make it any worse, and on you go but the initial drop does mke one think quickly.

Did the same thing a while back with a brand new 1L can of Rosewood stain.

Was walking from the shelves back to the bench, can in one hand, trying to unscrew the $%&*$& top with the other. (Do they heat seal those bloody caps on? ) Of course, there was only dregs left in the can once I picked it up.

Didn't damage any of my timber supplies, thank god, but the floor and nearby benches didn't escape unscathed... I doubt they'll ever lose their battle scars. Also had bright red feet for the next week or so.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Swmbo told me later that my horoscope for day suggested I should wear bright colourful clothing.

But fate did it for me instead.

Almost finished for the day on monday and then knocked over a litre of stain, not acrylic, so quick clean up wash legs and feet in turps then straight in the shower, looks like a bad year for spills.

Mere trifles. Had an apprentice that knocked a full 20 Litre drum of NC lacquer off the bench while filling a gun.

20 Litres spreads a loooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg way and takes a long time for an apprentice to clean up.
