Carpet Recomendations - Perth
Hello Chaps,
I'll post this one here and see how goes...
To complement the wood floating floor going down shortly, I am recarpeting the main bedrooms and lounge dining areas. 67m2 in total floor space.
Have been to check out Parry's locally who have what we want for the exhorbitant price of $3,800 for what looks to be good quality. That's 37.50/m2 for twist pile and 57.50/m2 for a comfy square patterned number. Cost includes underlay and laying.
Question is, are these reasonable prices and can anyone in Perth region reccomend any other good retailers / wholesalers. Wholesalers might be OK as my BIL has a carpet layer mate who works by the carton.....
I did the same investigate it first excercise on my Engineered boards single plank pacific walnut from Embelton's and got them for about $46/m2.
Your responses appreciated.
Cheers............DC

Try carpet supermarket - Stock rd or north lake rd (sorry I get them mixed up) across from rugs a million in O'connor. they have discontinued and off cuts etc. full rolls to. have a look. there is also one like it in Osborne Park.
Other wise trevors carpets have been good to me.
