New Years Resolution
OK
it's nearly that time of the year again, so what have we decided the next New Years Resolution will be??????????
Me, I'm going to try to swim 2000 meters non-stop!! 80 laps of the pool. TRUE
YEAH RIGHT:eek:   ( I do like swimming by the way, it fixes the sore back??)
Been saying it for years......I get started and swim every day, do 10-15-20 laps of the pool, for a couple of weeks then the BRAIN thinks i'm going alright?  I start to have a few days off here and there??
Before long, I can't swim that distance anymore   I think...if only I kept swimming I'd be able to swim???? (such and such a distance??)....I lose interest, ( well crack the $hits really) and BIN the whole exersize??
So for the umteenth time, Im starting again
Whats yours??100% of all non-smokers die

Loose weight, get fitter, spend more time in the shed, make tables & chairs for the Grandkids x 2 , swap storage shed to workshop and vica visa, spend more quality time with SHMBO, build a new faster computer, re-organise my timber stash ( found a heap I had forgotten about last week), drink not more but better red's & live each day ( lost another mate my age this year God I hate Cancer )
Rgds all And Have a good festive season , Drive carefully or get someone sober to drive.

As far a next year goes,
If I can complete as many interesting tools/projects as I did this year
Improve my knowledge base and skills as much as I did this year
Only make as many mistakes as this year
Get slightly more time in the shed as this year
Don't injure myself
And
can keep having the odd drink or 3
That will do me.

This year I've decided not to make any resolutions until after Xmas so I can't give you one.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Spend more on timber than single malt, fix some fences so we can get some hay (last year $4 this year $13:mad: ), attend funeral of ex wife (please), finish off the bloody bathroom.
Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.
