    Default Hoons on bikes

I don't think anybody that rides a bike is a irresponsible hoon.
Case 1: Fellow I used to go to school with wrapped himself around a telegraph pole outside Mater Hospital Crows Nest,
    Result: 1 vegetable.
Case 2:Young neighbour of ours and friend of our sons was going to Wentworth
Avenue to pick up some parts for his bike, idiot does right turn across his bows.
Result:Loss of leg below knee, still going through rehab. 3 years later
My son had a Honda 1100 cc bike that he hotted up,nothing could catch it,lent it to a mate of his,got chased by police all over Naremburn,Chatswood, eventually ended up parking bike in girlfriends lounge room, had to back the next day with a panel van to retrieve it. I had tow trucks in those days and had scanners in nearly every room, used to be heart attack material every time he took the f*****g thing out.
Glad he woke up and sold the thing.
    Rant over!

Hope all goes well and your fighting fit soon mate. Make it a priority to get another bike.

I gave up mine in 1980 and it's the worst mistake of my life. Bikes are a lifestyle not just a way to get around. Hopefully I'll be back on one soon, gunna sell all my model aircraft gear, to hard to fly these days with the insurance costs and politics involved.

Like the Royal Enfields but if I can find a way to get a Bonnie or a Speedmaster I'll rejoin the Triumph ranks. First bike was a Trumpet, a 150 Terrier.
