I think I've caused enough grief lately to have my name permanently scratched off the election roll for deputy Shirriff, now Al has sold out.

He's gone all quite hasn't he.

    Yoohoo Al,

Just something for you to do OK

We're not quite as backwards as all that. Some of our homes have running water inside these days, with faucets and all. And I hear tell there may be some of them thar indoor dunnies available before too long.

But you're right in that our fav'rit activity is to sit around the old pot-belly stove down to the gen'ral store and chew tobacco (spittin' on the sawdust floor, of course), eatin' boiled peanuts and tellin' each other how we coulda won the Civil War if the Damnyankees hadn't took us at Gettysburg.
    Cheers,

    Bob
