Time to say no to Graffiti

I don't know why you are all getting in a tiz about this. I lived in inner city Sydney for 18 years, you just get used to it..no big deal I don't even notice it anymore, guess I've gone graffiti blind.
Its 14 - 16 year old anouncing their arrival in our tribal society.

Didn't you ever write your name in wet concrete or carve it into a tree when you were that age?

or maybe even blow up the odd letter box??

I've also had three turds laid in my backyard including one in my grouting bucket. Only noticed when I used the grouting sponge.... which was used as a bottom wiper.

If I was to catch the little pricks I'd spraypaint them black head to toe so they can see how big a PITA it is to get off!

Clean grouting bucket out and wash sponge. Dry sponge thoroughly. Inject sponge with Sloan's linament or deep heat so the surface is dry.

Woudn't know for sure, because I've never tried it but I would have thought that the remnants of grout left behind on the sponge would have made for a less than comfortable aftermath. :eek:

I'm with you here Bleedin Thumb. Some of it I even enjoy, and coal trains (which I sit watching when the booms are down) should bl**dy well encourage it, to hide their ugliness.
The best way to encourage it is to remove the stuff, and offer a new clean slate. Find ways to work with it.

Now your thinking, what line weight do you recommend? Set the drag light to start with then wheel them in?

Work with it my Aunt Mabel! All very well to say coal trains and bridges and "other peoples'" property. Another when it's your own. I catch some b*^%#rd tagging my car, I'll work with 'im.

Reckon we orta bring back the village stocks and give the antisocial lot a bit of time in them.

If they get really really embarrased they aren't so likely to offend again.

Though these days the stocks need to be in a mall or shopping centre etc.
(preferably near a fruit shop with plenty of rotten tomatoes)

Never! I swear I was nowhere near it, I was just running co's I was late.

By the descriptions of some of the cruel and unusual punishment some of you fellas would mete out on someone for graffiting I would hate to get caught blowing up your letter boxes!:eek:

you watch vandalism etc almost dissapear if they hafta spend time in the stocks where all their mates will laugh at them.
