Ashamed of you Groggy, the superglue may not adhere to wet surface, some fish hooks just below the surface of the sponge are sure to attain the required degree of adhesion, with a little grief factor to enhance the experience

Woudn't know for sure, because I've never tried it but I would have thought that the remnants of grout left behind on the sponge would have made for a less than comfortable aftermath.

I'm with you here Bleedin Thumb. Some of it I even enjoy, and coal trains (which I sit watching when the booms are down) should bl**dy well encourage it, to hide their ugliness.
The best way to encourage it is to remove the stuff, and offer a new clean slate. Find ways to work with it.

Reckon we orta bring back the village stocks and give the antisocial lot a bit of time in them.
If they get really really embarrased they aren't so likely to offend again.
Though these days the stocks need to be in a mall or shopping centre etc.
(preferably near a fruit shop with plenty of rotten tomatoes)
