HELP me please.
:confused: Hello All. I am hoping someone can help. I am after somewhere to buy some timber for my Dad for Christmas and his birthday, (December 27). I have tried in out local, but no sucess. We are in the Hunter Valley (Dungog). If you know of anywhere or anyone, please let me know. Thankyou and have a great day. Julie.

Julie what sort of woodwork does your Dad do? This can make a difference as to the type or size of timber that you may be after.
For example, a woodturner would use circular or small shaped blanks. A furniture maker is likely to use slabs.
Also, are you after exotic woods or more "common" types.
There are outlets in the Hunter Valley/Newcastle area that sell all types of timber, but more information is needed before I would suggest any.
