GMC Coil Nailer
Hi All
I have looked through the archives but couldn't really find a complete answer.
Has anyone used the GMC coil nailer? Are the OK?
I know it really isn't top quiality but I do have a number of other GMC products and they have been OK so far. It wouldn't be for decking ... mainly fixing cladding and some pryda brackets. Any experience out there on this?

I bought a GMC framer, first one was a dud (leaked air out of the trigger and the firing pin kept getting jammed), but got it replaced without any issues. The second one works like a charm, no problems so far.
Not the coil nailer, I know, but I imagine the quality of their nailers is much the same across the range.Cheers,
Anthony

I've got the coil nailer. Only used it a few times for some renovation work. It worked fine.
How much wood could the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?

It is a beauty, i have done a couple of 100 m2 of decking, stainless steel nails. It takes the same nails as the airco gun so there is a big range at the power tool shops.

Well I bought a GMC nailer. The quality certainly doesn't compare to the other brands but it is half the price. So far it has done what I want, putting hardened nails through pryda brackets. So it should also have no trouble doing brace board and other cladding.
It has double fired a couple of times but apart from that ... OK so far.
