Toby is a high quality product, they have been around for years and they know their stuff. The product you used is applied neat from the can. It is a easy product to apply and looks good with 3 to 4 coats down. If you want to fill any holes or gum veins it is much easer to use a water based putty such as Timbermate. It is easy to apply and when it is dry, all you do is wipe over the fill with a damp cloth. The professionals use a poly vac ( Indus polisher) at this stage and use a pad much like a scouring pad. This pad is a aggressive buffing and not a sanding pad. It is safe to use on tung oil. In your Case you may need to take the time to use a orbital sander with 300 grit or so and lightly go over your floor with that. taking care not cut beyond the top layer of coating. You will need to work fast. If you can get hold of a polisher then use that. but go to a floor sanding supplier and get yourself a" blue magic pad" , You should not use the floor sander after you have placed the first coat down. remember to use timbermate putty. between each coat , lightly sand with orbital or polisher, make sure you vacuum well at least 2 to 3 times each coat. You do not want any dust.
