help needed to adjust vertical blinds
this may be the wrong forum for this question but here goes anyway.
I have a set of vertical blinds that currently open from each end to gather in the centre. My wife is currently bed bound and it would be a lot better for her comfort and privacy if I could change them so they open from the left to gather on the right hand side. I understand that it is a fairly simple procedure to change the way they open.
Can anyone advise me how to do this?? You see when she is up and about again, hopefullly in the next couple of months she will probably want them changed back and i can't see the point of paying overinflated fees for the so called experts to pay us a visit.
Thanks in advance for you help.
Cheers
Jack

Amongst my many careers I was involved with a blind company although it was over seven years ago.
From memory I think it is possible with the pulleys that are already in the track but you would have to pull it apart to investigate. They are a little bit complicated.
The main thing is to remove all the blades from the blind before you attempt it.
You will have to take the whole assembly out of the tracks and rearrange the pulley system. You may have to get some spare components so before you start make sure know the the brand of blind and where to get the parts because there are several vertical blind manufactures and none of their components are interchangeable
