    Watched a little bit of the show on Saturday, the challenger used whale's tongue to cook a dish. Not that I really care about what the Japanese do but…

    Totally agree. Don't know that too many Japanese papers have been written about whales.
    Things like " The fight or flight response in deceased whales" Whatever, once the research is done, its a case of "waste not want not". Sharks also are subject to this as the researchers monitor the time of survival of sharks after removal of the unneeded dorsal fin.
    And of course there's the annual Dolphin clubbing. Sanctioned because "they eat our fish":mad: :mad:
