Refinishing floorboards
I know this topic's been flogged to death but I did a search and couldn't find anything specifically on this:
The hardwood boards were sealed 15 years ago with Estapol and in low wear rooms just need recoating, not sanding.
I've read of a Cabots product (water-based poly?) that is supposed to go over the top of old finishes provided they are clean, and wondered if anyone can report how well that works. It would be good not to have to sand since given the darkening of the boards the whole room would have to be done.
Thanks in advanceCheers, Ern
