As expected, Flawed Phil makes a big score just so he can get the opportunity to fail in another test.

Looks like Strauss is at least putting up a bit of fight.

mmmm seems like the glue didnt have time to set on the bails ...and this is the PMs 11 maybe let them play a state side to give them a chance.
I hope they at least try and play cricket so I have something to watch.

Seems they are continuing on with their fine form even when they play 14 a side?

Ahhh I see they are just foxing us?
They are going to actually start to play when the Ashes kicks off
Good otherwise the non cricket lovers on here could call it boring to see them fall over themselves to leave the pitch as batters and their bowlersspend days being pasted all over the place.
They are almost as good at acting as the soccer players are when they take a dive

Tried to watch that game but the association with our PM was too distressing.
I'd object to being picked by him for anything.

At least Hawk had a go, even if he kept getting hit on the head and needing new glasses

With Little Johny almost every ball would be called a bouncer?

Nasty comment put him over the edge? Thought they would be able to handle being called stupid???? Really.
Still not in the spirit of the game and I don't approve of racial taunts. Fair enough to have a go a bad fielding etc.
Wonder if they will stop us calling the umpy a white maggot at the footy? (Even if he's orange?)

It was long believed that the real Ashes – a small urn thought to contain the ashes of a bail used in the third match (1882) – were presented to Bligh by a group of Melbourne women. In 1998, Lord Darnley’s 82-year-old daughter-in-law said they were the remains of her mother-in-law’s veil, not a bail. Other evidence suggests a ball. The certain origin of the Ashes, therefore, is the subject of some dispute.
Bring it on
I cant wait till the cricket starts.... I have told my wife when I get my shed up the small tele is coming out there with me so I can keep an eye on the tests while playing in my new domain....
she reckons she will never see me again, perhaps she is right? well at least until the season is over and whenever I get hungry....I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.
