What is a nymph?
My five year old son has a home reader that is called 'Amazing Crickets'
In it is described the life cycle of a cricket. It explains the reproduction of crickets and calls baby crickets nymphs.
My wife suggested that if she is a fan of nymphs does that make her a nymph-omaniac???
I choked on my dinner and fell off my chair when she said this.

We have trouble on the ANZAC Frigates as well, when a woman is on the consoles they want to turn the displays around to face the way they are going, just like they do with Melways/Gregorys etc

I've never seen a kangaroo hop.
Then again I've never seen a one legged kangaroo, but I imagine that it would need it's tail to help it hop.
They can jump without their tails touching the ground though.

I'm sure I remember watching a documentary on TV years ago that featured a tail-less roo, moving along at a pretty fair speed alongside a 4-wheel drive at night. The particular 'roo obviously didn't need a tail to allow it to jump or hop.
Might have been one of Albie Mangles' docos - although I don't recall any good-looking girls in the show - so that rules out Albie.Driver of the Forums

Ahh, but if the kangaroo jumped through the windscreen of the 4wd (with or without assistance of the crew), then it might well have been old Albie.
Where is he and what is he doing now?
Still speaking in monotones I suppose...

Albie Mangles... So thats why the 'Roo had no tail.
Last I saw of Albie was earlier this year giving hints on how 65+ year olds could change tyres on a 4WD whilst stuck in the bush. Seem to rememeber he had some all singing, all dancing device for doing it.
Also saw a doco where he and Belinda Green met up again after all these years. You might remember she provided the sex appeal for his Asian adventure. She certainly wanted to distance herself from him this time through though.
