Mouse scroll wheel and these forums
I don't know if anybody else has the same problem, but I find on the odd occasion my PC will lock up as I'm scrolling a forum article.
Typically the screen fills with a portion of the page being viewed, usually a uniform pattern much like on exterior window shades (vertical stripes)
All over red rover once it happens - reboot and all comes good again.
Just done it to me twice this arvo.
Never seem to have any problems elsewhere though....Ray

G'day.
sounds like an overheated or dirty video card to me.
I get the same thing from time to time,but not just on this forum.
A reboot & a fan or Air Conditioner fixes it for me.Cliff.

"pyjama pants" was what I called it and reformatting by my son seems to have fixed the problem. It was worse in hot weather so the cabinet was opened and all of that nice insulating dust was blown (gently!) out.
