Our Rocky is a Golden Ret cross Lab and is looking a bit keggish at 42kg. They just live for food, and in between conserve energy by sleeping. Think it's time for all of our to cut back a bit and get heavily into walking, like their master should Originally Posted by Felder

They're getting close to six years old now.
Golden Retrievers are only supposed to reach around 38kgs. Jack is 47kg, and the vet reckons he isn't fat. He is just BIG! If he sits next to you when you're standing, his head is the perfect height for a pat.
Molly is about 38kg. She is fat.

This is Mako. 3 year old Lab x Golden Ret.
He is 42kgs, but fit, just a big dog.
His mum was a guide dog, so he is pretty switched on, makes training easy......
The hair loss is PITA at the moment, losing the winter coat
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

love the dog. we have a girl that colour called charlie . dad closest, charlie in the middle and demon at the back. The two black ones are dad and son and no longer get along. gotta find a new home for demon
