I didn't realise that I hadn't received my copy of the issue until I saw it in the newsagent yesterday. Have emailed Taunton and am awaiting a reply (probably the same reply as everyone else). I wouldn't be too thrilled about the standard offer to extend the subscription by a month. I know it's not much but newsagent prices are about double the subscription cost. That's why I subscribed in the first place. Anyway, if it's a just a once-off situation, I'll probably accept because of the hassle of arguing with them or waiting the 10-12 weeks extra.
By the way, their email interface doesn't appear to have been too well thought out. It has as mandatory fields the zip code and the US province to be entered. It didn't appear to want to accept my Aussie postcode so I inserted Taunton's Connecticut zip code. Nor did it accept their own selection of "Australia - New South Wales" for the province, but accepted "other". I had to tell them the correct details in the body of the message. What a balls-up.

Hmm, well it is a bit US-centric as you would expect but I didn't have any trouble entering my address using the fields on the form. Don't select anything in State (ignore the red aster), select Australia - New South Wales and enter your postcode. Worked for me the 3 or 4 times I've used it.

I hate to say this but the following edition (Nov-Dec) is now available on-line.

Silent
I did try the "Australia - NSW" choice but it still rejected it and came up with the little pop-up that the field was mandatory. Never mind. Despite all of this, I am thinking about subscribing to the on-line service anyway. Feedback seems to be OK on this and $15US isn't going to break the bank.

Like many here, I have also missed my #186 issue, so fired off an email to Taunton. I received the now customary "but one locally and we'll extend your sub by an issue" response.
I did take that offer up, but do wonder why there wasn't some type of logistics trial before the new supplier was appointed...

From what I can gather, nobody in OZ received the FWW #186. Why do they not just redo the whole OZ shipment instead of handling each one separately ???. They resent mine on 12 Sept and still no mag.

Maybe we should direct their notice to this thread. If I knew how to, I would do it.
It's unfortunate and probably not their fault, but as a goodwill gesture it would be a very worthwhile PR exercise. If I were Tauntons, I would have to be very wary about the harm this could do to their marketing in Australia, that is, if we are significant enough to them I suppose.
