I'd show you a picture of the Chihuahua pup we bought yesterday, cute little thing about 6" long... but the cats ate it overnight, found a token paw behind the couch.

Here's Russ and Heidi. Hungarian Vizsla's.
Laying in the sun on a winters day, looking sleepy.

This is Cody, sadly he had an argument with a car a few years ago and we haven't been able to bring ourselves to replace him yet.

They certainly become a huge part of your life and are greatly missed.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonay in one hand - Strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming - "WOO WOO...What a ride"

Geezus Stirlo, is that a "fluffy toy" that your "dog" has .?????? < Insert incredulous scoffing sound here > I hope in time you will realise the error of your ways and get a dog taller than your knees

The first one is my old mate that I had to put down, sadly due to cancer.
The second lot from left to right are Jed (Kelpie), Sally (Border Collie/Kelpie x Blue Heller/Boxer, Jessi (Kelpie x Rotti)
    Cheers

This is Brandee, she's 10 years but acts like she's 2 and if we're not paying her attention 24hrs a day shell sulk with the best of them (so hard done by)

Grunt, SWMBO and I loved the pic of your dogs, it's a classic

the fluffy toy is part of a matress he tore up. he can actually get really fired up and then he is psycho.
we got a mini foxy because of the size of our yard so a dog taller than my knees would get fat and not enough exercise IMO.

    cheers

as you get taller you will have to get a bigger dog. inverse square rule (ie if you have a pooffy dawg then the chicks wont want to "have you" : They'll think your a square and rule you out, thus you'll have to inverse youself - best off with either an exotic or a he-man dawg) CAN I suggest a GSD or shar-pei or Dalmation - chicks dig spots on the dawg rather than you ...? ) I understand that SilentC has experience with Spaniels.

    Default It's a dogs life

Here is from left to right, Rocky, Ripley and Cooper. Tasha was clever enough to sneak inside to sleep on the sons bed. She is the smaller but she is the boss.

His name is Cyclamen. Lives next door. Works well, but don't tease him about his name

Molly on the left, Jack on the right.

They're getting close to six years old now.

Golden Retrievers are only supposed to reach around 38kgs. Jack is 47kg, and the vet reckons he isn't fat. He is just BIG! If he sits next to you when you're standing, his head is the perfect height for a pat.

Molly is about 38kg. She is fat.

    Deck is merbau.
