Tilt-a-Doors
How difficult is it to hang a Tilt-a-Door? Is this something that can be done alone or would an offsider be required?

Hi George
I used to hang 5 metre x 2.4metre Tilta Doors on my own but you really need to know what you are doing. If it going to be a new door there should be instructions with the fittings

Thanks Barry, I'll think about it for a little while though before I do anything.

Hi George
When your ready I'll give you a run down on the procedures for doing it. Just send me a PM.
There are two types of fittings for Tiltadoors. There is the track type for minimum head clearance and the standard type where you have plenty of head clearance. also there are different setups depending on the weight of the the door. Some only have a single spring each side and some have double springs each side.Last edited by Barry_White; 14th October 2006 at 02:20 PM. Reason: To add further comments

If you haven't got the instructions you can go here to get them. Just scroll down to Tilta Doors.
