Guess what timber this is
I have a piece of timber here, it is roughly 30x5x4cm.
Guess what it is, you may guess it straight away, or you may not.
Clues will follow.
Hve taken photos of all grain hotspots
If the photos arent good enough, I will update.

Photos are a bit small, but the far right of the second image, the figure (?) in it looks a bit like some I've seen in blackwattle, but the 4th image, the cranky grain reminds me more of bluegum. Dunno really.

Clearly your photography skills falls somewhat short of your turning skills.
How about focusing the camera and taking a polished close up of the flat and end grain?
