Default Timber Floor over heated slab

    Hi all,

looking at buying a property that has slab heating and my wife wants a timber floor instead of the carpet already installed. I think it's asking for trouble as the timber will move like anything when the heat is cranked up. Has anyone here faced this problem before? Is there a decent pre made floating option that can cope with heat and won't move aroound?

    TIA

    G'day.
    It can be done.

They do it in the U.S. and U.K. all the time.

We have supplied KD Spotted Gum dried to 8%M.C.
Direct stick to concrete and no gaps after 3 years.

The only likely fly in the oitment would be in summer when the heating is turned off. Tassie is warmer than pomgolia in summer.
    Hooroo.
