Richard Hammond
Hi Rowan,
I heard about this last night, (20th Sept) He is now described as 'serious but stable'. He was at Elvington airfield near York about 20 or 30 miles from where I live in Yorkshire. Too many famous people getting killed & injured lately for comfort don't you think? Here's hoping he get well soon.
Cheers mate, Sliver.live as long as you can & die when you can't help it.

HI, Report on t.v. in uk this morning. (22nd Sept) said that Jeremy Clarkson was at the Hamster's bedside in Leeds hospital & is said to have jibed at Richard being a rubbish driver; They said a smile appeared on his face.....
Although he is still a long way off recovery it fills you with hope doesn't it??????
Cheers guys, Sliver.live as long as you can & die when you can't help it.

Thanks for the info Rowan. I was just talking to my neighbour yesterday about how casually they drive at speeds of 250 kph and more on that show. I guess the two recent deaths in Oz show that you really can't get away with much. I hope he recovers.

I heard that he does have a "Brain Injury", but to what extent is not known. Either way, he wont be traveling at 300MPH for a long time, if ever.
Great show though.I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
