Talking Clock
A bloke invites a few mates around for an impromptu party after the pub one night.
One of his mates spots a large bronze gong on the mantle piece and says "hey, what's with the gong?".
"That's not a gong," he replies "it's a talking clock".
"Whaddya mean, a talking clock?"
"Watch and learn".
He strikes the gong and a loud, ear-shattering clang explodes from it.
Just then, a voice from across the street cries out "hey , it's 3:15 in the morning".
"See?"
