Suggest you try Google again. I just googled "wood joints" and got 6 million hits. Many complete with pics, descriptions etc.
Even the Wikipedia (which was one of the sites that came up first in the search made above) had over 15 different joints, with diagrams and photos."Clear, Ease Springs"

OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll pull my Head in after this.
Like some others we are doing the Legwork for them,
quite often they are VERY Newcomers.
That's not bad enough,
but I get a headache interpreting the "Text Messaging" language.
Wolfforce,
welcome if you decide to stay.
No! I not only am picking on you, but many who do same/similar and often expect more.
I've learnt to speak my mind where appropriate, [Maybe not to you so soon, but; HEY ]
Other Forums [MotoGuzzi and BMW ECCA] are the same, so you're not alone.
If you decide to stay, Hope you do;
there is a LOT of information here, and Humour[But not from me ]Navvi

This is not having a go at Ivan personally but just a general comment on a little bit of ettiquette in these forums.
I was going to delete this because I think it is an unwarrented statement.
People come here for help and by Wolfforces own admission he had tried a search. Not all people are familiar with computers and search engines. Not all people have English as their first language and for those that are in that category English would have to be one of the hardest languages to learn bar Mandarin.
They were not asking you to do their homework for them but where to source the information from.
A little humility goes a long way sometimes as does putting the boot on the other foot.

ahem... splutter... cough... choke on my own embarressment As one who has previously let rip at someone "new" and supposedly "nota habin henglish asa da first lingo" I will endeavor to act in the spirit of Robbos words
Wolfforce after doing what Stuart said and inserting the words "wood joints" into google (search engine as you know) I came up with thousands of sites... so here I will copy and past but the first few
Dixieline USA
UK mob
just scroll down a little to the list of joints
Another UK one
good do it yourself info
okay that should get you started and busy for awhile... "wood joints" will get a mere 6,200,000 hits... but type in "tools to join wood" and theres 17,500,000 hits  ...hits being sites to click and visit as I think you also know... so even if we say there would be 25% false leads among those hits/sites thats still what?... A BLOODY LOT OF SITES!! with enough info to confuse any teacher lecturer or college professor for a month of Sundays!
Now not havin done my usual with Wolfforce I expect some appreciation for efforts shown with regard to the prize draws mate? You agree?! Bloody beawdy see yer as soon as the tickets to Melborne arriveBelieve me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!

Welcome wolfforce
Your question was other joints, this suggests you are already aware of some joints, if you this is true could you tell us what they are so we can give you more specific information, good luck with your studies.

You din't do a very good job of deletion . It is stil there. It doesn't matter though as I had even more difficulty understanding Ivan's English than I did wolfforce's.

The computer probably didn't consider his post worth counting.
Incidently Wolfforce last activity was on 18th Sep 2006 at 09:47 PM a few minutes after his post ( love the accuracy of the current computer date and time stamp ). He can't be too interested in our help.
Peter.
