    Default Noggins to fix tap fittings to

    What setback should I allow when fitting the noggins behind laundery trough & kitchen sink?

    Prolly best to buy the taps firkst and work it out from there.

    IIRC, for lugged elbows (your kitchen taps) its 20mm or half a folding rule(side on), and for back taps its 40mm (your laundry taps assuming we're talking about taps over a trough).

    With the lugged elbows its better to have too much sitting proud than not enough. Too much can be easily cut with a hack saw, too little and you're in deep do-do.
