I got an E-Mail today saying mars will be at it's closest to earth for 5,000 years on August 27th only some 34,649,589 miles from earth
Something worth showing the kids and grandkids , should be almost as big as the moon to the naked eye

So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month. Share this with your children and grandchildren. At some point, Any planet is going to be at it's closest possible distance from Earth. And it would only happen every blue moon
